Vivian Bizios N.D. operates a successful private practice in the heart of downtown Toronto. As a licensed Naturopathic Doctor, Dr. Bizios is trained to assess and manage the unique health needs of every patient. She offers patients a combination of dietary advice and science-based recommendations on the use of nutritional and herbal supplements. Dr. Bizios is also skilled in the use of traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture, Bowen therapy and a unique system of homeopathic medicine called Biotherapeutic Drainage.
In addition to her private practice, Dr. Bizios is a faculty member at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, supervising 4th year naturopathic student interns at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic. A passionate educator, Dr. Bizios teaches courses in human anatomy and pathology at George Brown College. She is also, actively involved in educating the public on Naturopathic Medicine. As a spokesperson, she delivers health seminars and workshops to various groups in the Toronto area and has been featured on local television programs.
Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, Dr. Bizios obtained her Bachelor of Applied Science (Dietetics and Nutrition) from Ryerson University and proceeded to complete a four year specialty program in Naturopathic Medicine at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, Canada.
She is driven by a passion to understand the mind-body connection in health and disease, treat the root cause of illness and ultimately help guide her patients on their journey to optimal health.
Her special interests include digestive health concerns, women and children’s health, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, allergies and detoxification.
